1. Overview
Afocal Solutions LLC ("Afocal", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit afocalsolutions.com, contact us, or engage us for services — and how we use and protect it.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways:
- Information you provide directly — name, company, email address, phone number, and any details you share when contacting us or engaging our services.
- Information collected automatically — pages visited, time on site, browser type, and approximate location via Google Analytics (see Section 4).
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Respond to your inquiries and deliver requested services
- Improve and understand how our website is used
- Communicate updates relevant to your engagement with us
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
4. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our content. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as pages visited, session duration, and general geographic location. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Client & Prospect Confidentiality
Afocal treats all information shared by clients, prospects, and partners as strictly confidential. We do not disclose — directly or indirectly — any information about a client's or prospect's technology environment, security posture, business approach, vendor relationships, or engagement terms to any competitor, third party, or other client.
This commitment covers all information shared during initial conversations, assessments, active engagements, and after an engagement concludes. Formal service engagements are governed by a mutual non-disclosure agreement (MNDA) that provides contractual protections consistent with this policy.
6. Data Security
We apply the same security principles to protecting your data that we recommend to our clients — access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege handling of any information you share with us. Only team members who need access to your information to deliver services have it.
7. Data Retention
We retain contact and engagement information for as long as necessary to deliver services and maintain business records. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@afocalsolutions.com.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies independently.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
